Since I stopped selling my own cards, I have enjoyed appreciating the work of others. In my early twenties, I got into a habit of sending out Christmas cards every year. I was very organised back then. In recent years, however, I have not been so organised. I think it must have been at least three years ago that I last sent a Christmas card!
This year, I wanted to change that.
When Rosemood got in touch to see if I would like to try out their website and stationery products, I agreed (of course) and couldn’t wait to give it a go.
Their webshop is filled with lots of different and stylish designs. There are lots of options to personalize your greetings cards; you can upload your own photos, add your own text... there are so many possibilities. I was really impressed with the interface - it was so easy to choose a template, edit the words and arrange everything how I wanted it. What I thought was really excellent was the fact that once you have finished your design, they proof read everything for you. If there are any corrections that need to be made, they contact you to check that you are happy with their amendments.
For my cards, I chose the “Festive Ferns” design and decided on “Happy Holidays” as the text. On the other
side I wrote a little message and our address is also included in small type at the bottom, which is really handy.
Whilst I was on a roll with the cards, I tried out another product on the Rosemood website - one of their photo books.
You can choose between a hard cover or soft cover book and I went with the soft cover magazine-style finish, as I thought it looked really sleek and stylish. Again, the website was really user-friendly and I found it really easy to upload my photos and write the text that I wanted. As with the Christmas cards, Rosemood Atelier proofread and tweaked my photos, before sending their edits to me to review. Once I gave them the go ahead, everything was made and sent over to me pretty speedily.
The quality of the products are so lovely in person and everything is printed and finished beautifully. I would definitely use them again, for greetings cards and for other stationery. I’m also tempted to create more photo books, as gifts for people.
Now I'm all set up with my cards, there is no excuse now! I’m looking forward to cosying up in bed one evening soon and writing all of the cards for everyone!
Here’s to being more organised again in the future (well... maybe).
