With Freya’s first birthday coming up, I’m finding myself feeling sentimental. I’m relishing all of the cuddles (even the middle of the night ones) and savouring all of the milk feeds. There’s something about the milk feeds with her, that I adore so much. She cuddles in close to me, looks at me with big, trusting eyes and pats me on the chin with her chubby fingers. It melts my heart every time and it’s a wonderful way to connect to her and have some calm amongst the daily chaos.
I've had an unintended six month hiatus from The Edit series... I think the last one that I posted was back in April! Woops.
A few life events have occured, which totally threw me off my game, but I'm back now and ready to go.
I'm not sure how many more monthly edits I will do... I might do them until the new year and then start posting my favourite outfits in a more relaxed and organic way. I'm finding that being strict with a posting timetable is making me think too hard about the outfits that I want to share, rather than sharing what I really love or am currently inspired by.
So, next year onwards, still expect style posts, but expect them to be a bit more random - sometimes a few a month, sometimes none!
This post is in partnership with Luxury Family Hotels.
I have always dreamed of visiting Dorset. I used to visit Cornwall and Devon a lot as a child and a lot of my family live near Portsmouth… but I never managed to quite make it to the Dorset part of the coast.
When we were invited by Luxury Family Hotels to stay at their gorgeous hotel Moonfleet Manor, I jumped at the chance. How could we not?
It was our first little holiday as a family of four. Alfred, in particular, was very excited at the idea of going on holiday and staying in a hotel. He’s at such a brilliant age, where he gets everything - so it was perfect timing for our first proper trip away with him.
This post is a paid partnership with Argos Home.
I've shopped at Argos for years - I don't know about you, but when I think to shop at Argos, it's usually for items like a kettle or toaster, not homewares. When Argos Home invited me to visit their first ever pop-up shop in London, I was pleasantly surprised with the range of home products on offer.
Beautiful beds and sofas, a gorgeous pink velvet chair, cushions, throws, dining room accessories - there were so many stunning things to see. Everything looked really luxe for the price tag and I could see so much of it looking at home in my house. Whilst I was there, I chose three pieces to style in my home, to give you all an idea of what is currently available...
