Over the past 3 months, I have taken an unintended break from blogging.
I've been very active on Instagram and have been using that as my "blog" of sorts, but I have massively procrastinated in actually taking some time to sit down and write a full post on here.
Between being ill after Christmas, family matters, Dan and I running multiple businesses combined and, most importantly, looking after Alfred, I just couldn't find the time to do it. Then as the weeks went by, I started finding excuses NOT to do it.
When it gets to January, after all of the busyness of Christmas is over and the busyness of throwing myself into work starts again, I can start to feel a bit tired and haggard. A few little treats are always nice, so today I have put together a post, sharing with you some of the little pick-me-ups that I am currently enjoying.
Life has been going by at an alarming rate recently, the weeks have felt sooooo busy!
Between blogging, being a musician and piano teacher, starting a new art collection (yikes!) and trying to slow down a bit with Alfred and Dan, I have had to work hard to find time to do things for myself.
Stroller walks past local cafes, with our Stokke Xplory.
The Xplory pram is amazing! Because the seat can be positioned really high up on the frame and the handlebars can be pushed down, you can turn it into a kind of highchair when out and about. Alfred loves this and it has meant that we can eat at restaurants again, without him moaning or trying to escape!
