Identity and motherhood. Losing your identity after becoming a mother. Finding it again after having a baby. Or finding a brand new identity. Or a bit of both. Today I would love to talk about this topic. Of course, men can go through this too, but for this post I am focusing more on a woman's perspective.
Once a month, I plan to choose a weekend in our lives to film for a little vlog. Here is the first one, a weekend in May 2016. A weekend filled with good food, lots of roses and warm weather.
I first saw Hannah on Instagram when I was heavily pregnant with Alfred. I started following her when I realised she was pregnant too and when I spotted how absolutely gorgeous her photos were, I was hooked! I have never met her in real life, but she is just so lovely and friendly.
I love how whimsical her photos are. Not to mention she takes the cutest pictures of Oscar! I think you will be in for a treat reading what she has to say about herself and her daily inspirations, so put a cuppa on and enjoy!
Last Sunday, Alfred and I took a trip to see my family. With one of my sisters, we went to the city central park. It was one of those days where I couldn't decide what to do (is it going to rain? Is Alfred too tired? Soft play or outside?), but everything ended up working out perfectly and we had a wonderful time. We had long walks in the warm weather (it didn't rain!) and then relaxed on the grass. Alfred is always so content when we are outside, so we could sit and chat and play. These are the days I want to remember.
